The task of my diploma in architecture at the ETH Zurich was to develop a child care-taking center in the old town of zurich.

With the project being a house for children i wanted to present the design in a simple and intuitive way in order to show it in the most realistic way possible.
In order to achieve this i put my focus on photorealistic renderings with a very much live-like atmosphere to show the strategy to giving every age group its individual area, which is marked by proprietary colors and materials as well as a private 'storey' with a 'private' exterior space.
Another important goal was not to present the necessary constructive details in the traditional way as detail drawings but to again use photorealistic imagery of sections and details.
